SacCounty Health Officer Issues COVID-19 Order
After thoroughly reviewing the Health Order, Sacramento Protective Services is EXEMPT from the restrictions based on Sections 10(d) – law enforcement personnel,  and others  who  need to  perform essential  services  are  categorically  exempt  from  this  Order – and Section 10(g)(xv) – Businesses  that supply  other essential  businesses  with the support.
As SPS provides services in support of essential businesses – fuel stations, residential housing, grocery stores, etc – our services are needed now more then ever.

At this time, I wanted to personally reach out and let you know that we are vigilantly implementing enhanced protocols to ensure your safety and the safety of our team.

Sacramento Protective Services (SPS) has developed plans and established a task force that will allow us to respond timely and appropriately.  Our patrol team will continue to actively patrol the 80 Watt District-PBID and contracted services along with responding to all calls for service.

Increased patrol service and additional patrol officers are being deployed to keep our community and businesses safe.  SPS is maintaining “business as usual” have put a plan in place to ensure you receive uninterrupted service and support from our team by equipping all team members with the technology they need to work effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to operations, and providing the support you need throughout this time. Our dispatch team continues to operate 24/7.

As the situation continues to evolve, we are taking additional steps to make sure we can continue to serve your business in the safest way possible consistent with the health and well-being of our clients and our entire team.

SPS will be modifying how Services are delivered until further notice, as follows:
1.  Officers to use universal safety precautions – do not touch any person or surfaces without rubber/latex gloves and/or immediately wash your hands thoroughly after contact with soap & water or hand-sanitizer.
2.  Officers to maintain a minimum of 6-feet of “social distancing” – keep a 6-foot barrier between yourself and all other persons at all times

Security and safety services in the 80 Watt Property Business Improvement District are contracted with Sacramento Protective Services, as of January 1, 2020. For your benefit, Sacramento Protective Services is contracted by the 80 Watt District to provide safety and security services for commercial properties. This is in accordance with state law and county ordinances. When you sign a Notice of Agency 2020 (2), Sacramento Protective Services will:

  • Proactively enforce against trespassing on your property

  • Take enforcement action against violators

Without a  FINAL Notice of Agency 2020 (2) on file, Sacramento Protective Services may not be able to provide the safety and security services listed.
